Be sure to check out what’s in the fridge when you arrive. Lactose lovers can chow down on King Islands finest cheesy delights compliments of your host.
Cosy lounge room with too many cushions, TV, DVD, board games, books, reverse cycle air-conditioning and did I mention the ocean views?

A hairdryer, Sudkin shampoo, conditioner and hand wash are supplied as is soap hand made by your host. Dry yourself in style with super plush towels.
Be blown away by the hand painted King Island feast on the six seater dining table. Painted over 3 days by your host Janet, your neighbour Liz and KarrYn from Upper Grassy Heights. It’s so realistic it will make your mouth water.
The hand stitched quilt from Guatemala that adorns the wall is a real dinner party conversation starter, see if you can find Michael Jackson.
For guests who are dedicated to work Lunarsea has a dedicated workspace with a large desk and surge protector power board. Good luck trying to get any work done, the view is very distracting.

"We stayed at Lunarsea in the village of Grassy on King Island for the last weekend of February 2022.
Grassy is about a 20-minute drive from the main suburb of King Island – Currie, so having access to a car will be handy.
The cottage is a lovely, super-clean 3-bedroom cottage opposite the harbour with lots of space and some beautiful artwork. We only used the front bedroom which had a very comfortable bed.
The kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed, including some extra supplies which were welcome.
Lunarsea is perfect for all sorts of visitors – singles, couples, families and even a small group.
We wish we could have stayed longer! A lovely break after the hustle and bustle of Melbourne life."
